The Corniche is one of the most famous spots in Beirut. People come from all over the world to take a walk on this historic piece of paved road next to the Mediterranean sea. Regional dominating athletes have used the currents outside the Corniche to stay fit for century’s, while local fishermen use this area for … well you know, fishing. Young men come here to whistle and whisper cheesy compliments to the girls, smoke water pipe and show off. And the girls seem to come here to show their well sculpted bodies fishing for compliments, only to get annoyed by it. Today it is one of the favorite hang-out-spots for celebrities and other famous people!
